The Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and trade[XYZ] have announced plans to leverage Hyperliquid as the infrastructure for launching perpetual futures markets aimed at US traders. This initiative will encompass various asset classes, including crypto, equities, commodities, and foreign exchange, pending regulatory approvals.

In this collaboration:

  • Hyperliquid will provide the underlying technology infrastructure through HIP-3*
  • trade[XYZ] will design and implement the markets
  • ICE will oversee the regulated market and clearing operations

Current trade[XYZ] HIP-3 markets will continue to operate as they are. Hyperliquid aims to serve as a neutral infrastructure layer, supporting significant segments of the financial system. Similar to HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers will act as independent operators, utilizing Hyperliquid for their market infrastructure while maintaining control over their deployments.
